Eating at Mandarin

During the month of December, we will have an additional day of Buffet and will be offering Small Eats Monday-Wednesday and Buffet Thursday-Sunday.

As an added bonus, Buffet will be available every day from December 23 to January 3 with Roast Turkey being offered on December 23 to December 26. Holiday buffet pricing will be in effect from December 23 to January 3. Reservations are highly recommended. 

We ensure that your Mandarin experience will be enjoyable as well as safe and comfortable for you and your family. We continue to work with guidelines from the Ontario government and local public health authorities.

Health and safety measures:

  • Operating at a reduced customer capacity to allow maintaining of physical distancing of 6 feet (2 metres) apart from others in all areas of the restaurants
  • Increased sanitization. More rigorous cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces including doors, door handles, dining tables, buffet areas, payment terminals and washrooms
  • Installed additional hand sanitizer stations
  • Directional signage with traffic control as needed to maintain physical distancing
  • Created laminated menus that are sanitized after each use
  • More frequent changing of buffet utensils
  • Installed extended sneezeguards at buffet tables
  • Customers are provided with hand sanitizer and are screened, including a temperature check, upon entry
  • Disposable gloves available for customers
  • Customers will be required to show both proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 14 days following second dose) and proof of identity to Dine-In for Small Eats and Buffet as per measures implemented by Ontario government.
  • Customers are required to wear a mask or face covering (except for when eating and drinking) upon entering and remaining within Mandarin, in accordance with Public Health measures
  • Manage contact tracing in accordance with Public Health measures
  • Staff are fully trained in health and safety procedures and continue to work with masks inside the restaurants
  • Staff are screened prior to each shift including temperature check, monitoring of symptoms, travel and contact history. Staff who do not pass are not permitted to work.
  •  We request that you consider the well-being of others and adhere to the safety measures. The health and safety of our customers is our top priority.

Mandarin Small Eats is a selection of about 70 freshly prepared, pay-per-eat Mandarin classics plated small – good for sampling, sharing and served right to your table. Dishes priced from only $1.99 – $5.99 for a delicious taste of Mandarin. Mandarin Small Eats will operate Monday-Thursday at participating locations. Reservations are highly recommended to confirm your booking and to also inquire about COVID-19 indoor dining restrictions being implemented in the location’s serving region.

Yes, for Small Eats service, a server will provide a take-out container that you can use to pack up any food you cannot finish. For Buffet, customers enjoy what they can at the restaurant.

For buffet service only, Seniors 65+ with valid photo ID receive 20% off, children ages 5-12 will receive 50% off and kids 4 and under are free (two children per paying adult).  There is no discount for Mandarin Small Eats.   We do offer a Birthday Coupon that the Birthday Guest can use towards their party’s Birthday meal when you sign-up for our Mandarin Dish e-newsletter. Visit our sign-up page for full details.

For Small Eats, you will receive a complimentary dessert and a birthday photo in a souvenir frame.

Unfortunately, during this time, we cannot have any outside product in our restaurant.

Guests at Mandarin generally wear casual or casual business attire, but some guests like to dress up when attending our restaurants for special occasions. (Tank tops or bare feet will not be allowed in the restaurants). Children ages 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

All Mandarin restaurants are wheelchair accessible.

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and debit. There are also ATM machines located in some our restaurants. If you require an ATM machine, please contact the restaurant you wish to visit in order to confirm availability.

Some locations do have designated areas or sections for private functions. To inquire about booking these, please call the restaurant of your choice.

Take-Out and Delivery

To place your order you can call your nearest participating location directly or order online. Please view our Take-Out and Delivery menu and place your order by clicking the Take-Out/Delivery page or look for the Order Online button at the top of any webpage. We accept Take-Out and Delivery orders via phone as well as third party apps including SkipTheDishes, UberEats and DoorDash.

You can view each Mandarin location’s delivery area map by clicking on the location’s page. You can also phone your closest Mandarin location directly.  They will be able to tell you if you are in the Delivery Area.

Food & Nutrition

All of our restaurants operate to the standards outlined in the Healthy Menu Choices Act. Food items are analyzed and comprehensive caloric information is displayed in-store, online and on our promotional materials. For customers with dietary restrictions, we always recommend contacting the location they are interested in visiting. A Manager would be pleased to answer additional questions and help them plan their next experience.

Our food is not categorized as kosher. We use pork in some dishes, but also offer many dishes which do not contain any pork. We attempt to accommodate the food requirements of as many customers as possible.

Many of our items contain ingredients like peanuts, tree nuts, seafood, gluten, etc., or have come into contact with those ingredients. It is, therefore, recommended that those with severe food allergies not dine at our restaurants.

While many of our items do not contain meat, we use chicken base in many of our dishes. For further information, please speak to the restaurant manager.


Business Information

Requests for donations or sponsorship can be made to the individual restaurants. Please send a letter to the managers of your local Mandarin detailing your cause, and a decision will be made by them. We ask that your letter be sent in at least a month before the event to ensure there is sufficient time for a decision to be made.

Yes, there are franchising opportunities available.  Interested applicants must attend a training program at our corporate headquarters in Brampton.  Franchisees are selected from this pool of applicants.  For more information, please contact hr@mandarinrestaurant.com.

Gift certificates are available in denominations of $10, $20 and $50. They can be purchased, in person, at any of our restaurants. At the current time, we are unable to sell gift certificates remotely via telephone, website, or e-mail.
